Ongoing Works:

 

  • Grenville Place: Full closure outbound from the junction of Henry Street to the junction of Grattan Street to facilitate the restoration of Boole House (Cumnor), local access for neighbouring businesses will be maintained, - **Please note that this closure will remain in place until early 2017**
  • Pine Street: Lane restriction currently in place to facilitate building repairs (All Maintenance Services Ltd.)
  • Murmont Crescent: Give/Take in place from 0800hrs – 1800hrs to facilitate the installation of a cable (Virgin Media Ireland)
  • Redemption Road: Lane restriction & footpath closure in operation from 0930hrs – 1800hrs near the junction with North Monastery Road to facilitate wall strengthening (All Time Cosy Homes on behalf of Roads Maintenance, CCC)
  • Notice:
  • Sundays Well Road: Full closure inbound is due to commence end January 2017  from the jct of Shanakiel Road to facilitate the repair of the retaining wall at Panorama Terrace (Manning’s Ground Engineering Ltd.), local access maintained– **Please note that this closure will remain in place until end of March 2017**

Saturday 21st January 2017

  • St. Patrick’s Street: Stop/Go in place from 0400hrs – 12 noon to facilitate removal of Christmas Tree Lights (Sean Ahern Electrical)
  • Lancaster Quay: Bus Lane closed from 0700hrs – 12 noon to facilitate log removal from the River Lee at Lancaster Bridge (Parks Dept, CCC)

Sunday 22nd January 2017

  • St. Patrick’s Street: Stop/Go in place from 0400hrs – 12 noon to facilitate removal of Christmas Tree Lights (Sean Ahern Electrical)
  • North Main Street: Full closure in place from 0400hrs – 12 noon from the junction of Adelaide Street to the junction of Castle Street to facilitate removal of Christmas Tree Lights (Robbie Ormond Electrical)
  • Maylor Street: Full closure in place from 0400hrs – 12 noon to facilitate removal of Christmas Tree Lights (Robbie Ormond Electrical)
  • Glasheen Road: Stop/Go in place from 0930hrs – 1600hrs between the jct of Tara Lawn and the jct of School Avenue to facilitate the repair of a broken watermain (Water Dept, CCC), delays expected
  • Donovan’s Road: Full road closure inbound from 0930hrs – 1500hrs to facilitate tree pruning (Parks Dept, CCC)

Monday 23rd January 2017

  • St. Patrick’s Street: Stop/Go from 2000hrs – 0600hrs to facilitate permanent road reinstatement (BAM), expect delays
  • St. Patricks Street: Parking restrictions in place from 1930hrs – 0600hrs to facilitate proving of ducts for CCMS Phase 1 & 2
  • Georges Quay: Lane restrictions in place from 1930hrs – 0600hrs to facilitate proving of ducts for CCMS Phase 1 & 2
  • St. Mary’s Avenue: Full closure in place from 0930hrs this morning to facilitate permanent road reinstatement as part of the watermain contract (MGOS)
  • Upper Cattle Market Street: Full closure in place from 0930hrs -1600hrs form the jct of Blarney Street to the junction of Boyce’s street to repair broken watermain (Water Dept, CCC)
  • Pearse Road/Lough Road Jct: Lane restriction in operation from 0930hrs – 1630hrs to facilitate a drainage repair (Drainage Dept, CCC)
  • **Please note that the footpath will be closed for the duration of the work, pedestrian diversion in place**

Tuesday 24th January 2017

  • Jack Lynch Tunnel: Full closure in place from 2100hrs – 0400hrs to facilitate routine maintenance works (Egis Lagan)
  • Grenville Place: Full closure from 0930hrs – 1800hrs from the junction of Henry Street to the junction of Grattan Street to facilitate the restoration of Boole House (Cumnor), local access for neighbouring businesses will be maintained
