University College Cork

UCC offers businesses to to recruit and work with UCC students. UCC Career Services boasts a highly qualified Work Placement Team Each Placement Manager has in depth knowledge, experience and specialisation in specific employment sectors.

Employers can advertise Graduate vacancies, programmes and internships free of charge on UCC's website and noticeboards for a period of 4 weeks. Visit the UCC Career services website to register as an employer. While your registration is pending approval (usually approved on the same working day) you can also post your vacancy for approval and immediate inclusion in our jobs vacancy noticeboard. Recruitment agencies should contact Career Services first graduaterecruitment@ucc.ie as we require the client name before advertising.

University College Cork's financial and business Services research focuses on basic and applied multidisciplinary research, including co-operative studies, quantitative investment, policy studies and business continuity, while also nurturing collaborations with industry and business partners. Additionally, Financial and Business Services are critical to the creation of new jobs, the support of industries and regional and national economic development.

 Munster Technological University 

MTU operates the Innovation and Enterprise Office is a Central Services Unit within MTU Cork which provides support for staff who want to work with industry through innovation vouchers and innovation partnerships and to engage in collaborative research and consultancy with industry. The Innovation and Enterprise Office provides both internal services to MTU Cork staff and students and external services to enterprises of all sizes.

Office Activities:

  • Supporting the development of innovation and entrepreneurial activities within the University 
  • Working with the Rubicon Centre team to deliver a first class incubation service to start-ups in the region and relevant entrepreneurship development programmes 
  • Commercialisation of MTU Cork research and knowledge transfer 
  • Supporting the creation of MTU Cork spin-out companies 
  • Working with industry and staff to deliver collaborative research activites and consultancy, and providing relevant funding advice
  • Promoting entrepreneurship to MTU Cork students

Munster Technological University's project "Industry 4.0" focuses on developing innovations in Cyber-Physical Systems and Internet of Things applications to develop emerging technologies that are revolutionising the industrial manufacturing process.
