Cork Bike Week

Tomas-Mc-Curtain-Commemoration-2020

This year's rescheduled Cork Bike Week takes place from Saturday 19th through to Sunday 27th September. Over 100 events will take place throughout the city during the week-long celebration of all things cycling.

Come join in an evening cycle along the Old Passage Railway line, history cycles, two “come & try” events with Cork BMX Club, numerous bike-maintenance workshops, a ‘Sofa to Saddle’ Programme in Blackrock, and Cork City Libraries will be displaying cycling-related books and resources throughout the week.

New to Cork Bike Week this year is the launch of an online WE-BIKE campaign, promoting electric bikes in their many shapes and forms. Alongside the active events, there’ll be online forum discussions, films, challenges & competitions, interactive cycling video sessions and a series of daily podcasts.

Details of most of the events are available from our partners at the Cork Sports Partnership here. All events are FREE but many require registration and may have restricted capacity.

Links to ONLINE EVENTS will be available on the day via the Sports Partnership’s Cork Bike Week links here.
