Cork City Council Air Quality

Let’s talk about clean air! The air we breathe has significant impacts on our health and well-being. Protecting and enhancing the quality of the air around us can make our city a better and healthier place to live and even help fight climate change. At this year’s Carnival of Science, Cork City Council’s Air Quality Team will be on hand to discuss what we can do to improve air quality, both as a community and on an individual level. The air quality scientists will demonstrate real-time Air Quality readings of the city-wide monitoring network, provide details on Cork City’s first Clean Air Zone and give a glimpse at future projects.
