More Details:

For Cruinniú na nÓg Cork City 2022, Cork City Council Library Service has installed poetry jukeboxes in windows of some library branches across the city. The jukeboxes feature a selection of poetry by young writers from The Unfinished Book of Poetry 2023 by Ó Bhéal.

Look out for the jukebox in your local library. Scan the QR codes to hear the poems read by their young creators.

The Unfinished Book of Poetry is an anthology that features new poetry from transition year writers representing five Cork schools. Each year, student writers participate in a series of nine workshops led by established poets in their school.

Since 2005 almost 700 young writers have been published in the Unfinished Book of Poetry. The literary schools programme is managed by Ó Bhéal and supported by Cork City Council.
