European Projects

City Council Participation in EU projects

Cork City Council is engaged as a partner in several European Funded Projects across a number of different funding calls, including, Horizon 2020, Interreg Europe, Atlantic Area and URBACT.

These projects help to advance Cork City Council’s knowledge about international best practice activities, promote transnational collaboration and help to accelerate social and economic innovation activities to enhance Cork in a sustainable way. Cork City Council Staff are currently involved in projects under themes including smart cities, social innovation and engagement, energy efficiency and tourism.

In line with the Government roadmap, our public counters in City Hall, Anglesea Street, Cork are open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday to Friday. However, we are asking residents, business and communities to telephone our Customer Service Unit at 021 492 4000 or to visit our website www.corkcity.ie before coming to City Hall. Members of the public visiting City Hall are requested to wear face coverings and make an appointment where possible
