The Capitol, a new €50 million retail and office development, opened in June 2017. Located in the heart of the city this development consists of over 9,000 m2 of grade A next generation retail and office space (which is already fully occuped including tenants such as AlienVault, Facebook and Huawei).
Formally opened in early 2016, One Albert Quay is Ireland's "smartest" building incorporating the latest technology available globally. This 6 storey LEED gold certified office block has delivered 15,000 m2 of large floorplate offices. Already fully occupied it houses the global headquarters of Johnson Controls (formerly Tyco), EMEA HQ of Malwarebytes, PWC, Ardmore Shipping, Investec, Hortonworks and a range of other international and Irish tenants.
Constuction has commenced on Navigation Square - the largest office development to be undertaken in Cork City's commercial centre. This riverfront development will combine 4 signature buildings offering 310,000 sq ft of 4th generation office space, designed to Gold LEED standards.
Work will commence shorty on HQ Cork - a hotel, office and residential development in Cork's Docklands. Located on a 6 acres site with a river front setting, this €160 million development will include over 200 apartments and over 37,000m2 of office space.
Other major developments at Sullivan's Quay and the South Terrace (Trinity Quarter) have recently been launched.
Work is also underway to develop a new Event Centre with the capacity to cater for 6,000 patrons as part of the redevelopment of the former Beamish and Crawford Brewery.
