  1. Provision of architectural and urban design advice to the Chief Executive and all Directorates within the City Council which contribute positively to corporate strategy, governance and actions.
  2. The design, management and delivery of Cork City Council homes and buildings which contribute positively to the public realm and assist in creating "places" in the community.
  3. The promotion of a design culture, by championing excellence in architecture, urban design and building conservation in the city.
