Notice is hereby given that Members of Cork City Council at its meeting held on Monday 13th December 2021 adopted the  Cork City Road Traffic (Special Speed Limits) Bye-Laws 2021 in relation to speed limits in Cork City. The adopted Bye-Laws will come into effect on the 1st of May 2022.

Notice is hereby given that Members of Cork City Council at its meeting held on Monday 9th March 2020 adopted the  Cork City Road Traffic (Special Speed Limits) Bye-Laws 2020 in relation to speed limits in Cork City. The adopted Bye-Laws will come into effect on the 25th of May 2020.

Notice is hereby given that Members of Cork City Council at its meeting held on Monday 9th March 2020 adopted the Cork City Appointed Stands (Taxi) Bye-Laws 2020 in relation to the appointment and regulation to taxi ranks. The adopted Bye-Laws will come into effect on the 25th of May 2020.

Cork City Council Douglas Parking Bye-Laws 2020

Notice is hereby given that Members of Cork City Council at its meeting on Monday 9th March 2020 adopted the Cork City Council, Douglas Parking Bye-Laws 2020 in relation to the parking of vehicles in the areas of Douglas within the administrative area of Cork City Council. The adopted Bye-Laws will come into effect on the 25th of May 2020.

4. Cork City Council Ballincollig Car Park Bye Laws 2020

Notice is hereby given that Members of Cork City Council at its meeting held on Monday 9th March 2020 adopted the Cork City Council, Ballincollig Car Park Bye-Laws 2020 in relation to the Car Park in Ballincollig bounded by Saclay Road and Baker Street. The adopted Bye-Laws will come into effect on the 25th of May 2020.

Speed Limit Appeals

The Speed Limit Appeals Procedure is a process whereby a member of the public can object to and appeal an existing speed limit contained within a Local Authority’s current Special Speed Limit Bye-laws.

This procedure is intended to facilitate a legitimate query that a member of the public or interested party may have regarding a particular speed limit.

To submit an appeal within the Cork City Council boundary download the speed limit appeal form from https://www.speedlimits.ie/appeals
