Cork City Council and Cork County Council have recently commissioned Nexus Planning to undertake a Joint Retail Study and Joint Retail Strategy for the Cork Metropolitan Area. This will inform the preparation of their respective Development Plans.
To kick off the process, a telephone survey, involving around 900 residents in and around Cork Metropolitan Area is being carried out by NEMS Market Research.
Questions will be asked about shopping habits. The information provided will help give the Councils a better understanding of how and where people like to shop, and what can be improved. The survey should take approximately eight minutes to complete.
Residents can be assured that all information gained from the questions will remain confidential.
