St Mary's Health Campus Junction Upgrade

Works Extent

The works extend along Baker's Road in Gurranabraher, from its junction with Cathedral Road to its junction with Templeacre Avenue.  They include an upgraded signalised pedestrian crossing at the shops to the south of the junction and a new pedestrian crossing adjacent to Templeacre Avenue.

Objectives

The objective is to upgrade, to current design standards and guidelines, the pedestrian, cycle and vehicular facilities at the junction of St. Mary's Health Campus and Baker's Road to meet anticipated requirements following redevelopment within the campus.  The end result will provide safe facilities for pedestrian, cyclists and vehicle users at this intersection. 

Timeline

Construction commenced in August 2020 and finished in December 2020.
