The Glen Resource & Sports Centre is owned by Cork City Council and operated by the Glen Resource Centre Ltd.
The James Kenneally Sports Hall, located beside Terence Mac Swiney Community College is now under the Management of The Glen Resource & Sports Centre.
In 2014, the Sports Hall underwent a major refurbishment and is now considered to be a state of the art and modern facility, which includes 4 badminton courts, a full-size, multi use indoor hall with modern gymnasium equipment and exercise/meeting room on the 1st floor. The changing rooms have also been upgraded to a very high standard.
The Hall and Exercise/Meeting Room are now available to hire for all types of sporting activities, events and tournaments.

The Tramore Road Sports Centre is administered by Scoil Stiofán Naofa and may be hired for indoor football, basketball, table tennis, badminton, volleyball or tennis.

The Sam Allen Sports Centre consists of 8 all-weather pitches at Knockfree Avenue, Churchfield.
The facility is managed by Leisureworld on behalf of Cork City Council. Pitches are available for hire on an hourly basis with opening hours being:
2pm – 10.50pm Mon – Wednesday,
12.30pm to 10.50pm Thursdays,
1.30pm to 8.45pm Fridays,
12.30pm – 5.30pm Saturdays and closed Sundays.

The City Council contributes towards the All Weather Running Track at the Cork Institute of Technology. Details available from CIT, Rossa Avenue, Cork – Tel No. 021 – 4545222.
The City Council provides playing pitches at locations throughout the City which are licensed to various Clubs.
