60,000 people enjoy Cork’s largest ever St Patrick’s Day Parade
An estimated 60,000 people gathered in the city centre to watch a record 3,600 people take part in what was the city’s largest ever St Patrick’s Day parade. Organised by Cork City Council, the parade was the highlight of the Cork St Patrick’s Festival, which began last Friday to celebrate Irish music, culture and heritage

Cork St Patrick’s Festival Five Day Celebration begins this Friday March 13th with record 3600 participants in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Organised by Cork City Council, the Cork St. Patrick’s Festival, which begins this Friday, is a fantastic five-day celebration of Irish music, culture and heritage. The festival which takes place all over Cork City will feature concerts, céilí dancing, music trails, traditional Irish music performances, family events and the much-loved St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
