Remembering and honouring the revolutionary women of Cork who played a significant part in the events of 100 years ago, contributed to Irish nationhood and fought for women’s political and civil rights, Cork City Libraries present No Longer Forgotten: Cork Women of the Revolution.
This thought provoking exhibition highlights the bravery and idealism of the women of Cork including: Muriel Murphy MacSwiney, Alice Cashel, Leslie Price, Hannah (Pidge) Duggan, Cecilia Saunders Gallagher, Josephine Marchment (O’Donoghue), Mary MacSwiney, Annie MacSwiney.
