Porters

Porters duties include but are not limited to:

• ensuring the security of buildings
• the safety of staff and members of the public, in practical in the area of fire safety.

Porters play a key role in support event management in Council buildings by ensuring that spaces are appropriately set up.  Porters also participate in ceremonies and civic events. Porters are responsible for the flow of mail to and from Council buildings and deliveries to buildings
