Cork Docklands to City Centre Road Network Improvement Scheme

CGI Docklands

Public consultation on the scheme is open and runs until March 10 2025.

The proposed scheme which supports the rejuvenation of Cork’s Docklands is designed to enhance public amenities in the area, and to improve the connectivity of the South Docklands with the city centre across all modes of transportation, but with an emphasis on walking, cycling and public transport, and seeks to improve road safety in the area. The scheme also includes the development of high-quality public realm and streetscapes, in line with the ambitious Docklands redevelopment programme.
