BUSHROSS (Building Up Skills for Home Renovation, One Stop Shops)

BUSHROSS Project

Cork City Council are participating in a European Project in collaboration with five other European Regions to decarbonise the residential building stock.

Project Objective

BUSHROSS (Building Up Skills for Home Renovation, One Stop Shops) is a European Project developed under the LIFE Programme for Environment and Climate Change aimed at identifying skills gaps in the housing retrofit sector.
The project will develop training schemes to tackle these skills gaps through engagement and collaboration with local authorities, energy agencies, contractors, developers and stakeholders. This will lead to an increase in home renovation and the development of One Stop Shops to better manage the residential energy refurbishment and support the just transition.
