Wreath Laying Ceremony for Terence MacSwiney
On Sunday October 25, Lord Mayor of Cork Cllr. Joe Kavanagh laid a wreath at the grave of former Lord Mayor Terence MacSwiney in St. Finbarr’s Graveyard, Cork, to mark the 100th anniversary of MacSwiney’s death after 74 days on hunger strike in Brixton Prison, London.
The wreath laying was also attended by Bishop Fintan Gavin and Archdeacon Adrian Wilkinson.
