Planning Application Process
Cork City Council is the local planning authority for Cork City. A key part of its role is to manage the nature, use and form of development through the planning application process. This process is set out and regulated under the Planning and Development Act 2000 and Planning and Development Regulations 2001, as amended.
All development that is not exempted under planning law requires planning permission.

Planning Compliance
Following a final grant of permission by Cork City Council or a grant of planning permission by An Bord Pleanála, you have to comply with any planning conditions attached to your permission.
