The Echo has been a proud supporter of Cork Heritage Open Day since it began in 2005 and recognises the importance of celebrating the rich built heritage of Cork. As a newspaper The Echo have been part of Cork's landscape since 1892 and values the role it plays in highlighting the wealth of cultural and historical buildings that we are lucky to have in Cork and does so daily on its pages on Echolive.ie. The Echo will continue to support the people of Cork into the future as these institutions being to reopen their doors and welcome the public once more.
