Community Participation

Cork City Public Participation Network provides a new way for the public to engage with the Cork City Council. It is made up of groups and organisations from the community and voluntary, social inclusion and environment sectors across the City.

Comhairle na nÓg are child and youth councils in the 31 local authorities of the country, which give children and young people the opportunity to be involved in the development of local services and policies.

The Lord Mayor’s Community and Voluntary Awards is an annual awards ceremony held in City Hall.

Are you interested in volunteering in Cork City?

Cork City Council is seeking expressions of interest from community groups and/or voluntary organisations to rent and maintain the Tuairin Glás, Community Hub, Ballincollig, Cork City. The closing date for submissions is 5pm 30th July 2025.
