The Roughty Foodie

The Roughty Foodie was originally established as a grocery stall by the late Michael F. Murphy in the 1960’s and the company is now a third generation family run business. You can expect to find local and fresh real honest ingredients when visiting this market stall - they provide non perishable food gifts, seasonal fruits, local raw honeys, homemade jams and Irish crafts. The company prides itself in providing a platform for Irish foodies to showcase their products - almost everything on offer is small scale produced. Multiple products have won awards such as Coolea Cheese, made in Cork, won the British World Gold Cheese Award and homemade jams and local honey was listed in the Best in Ireland McKennas Guide 2019.
