City Council Allotment Scheme

The City Council operates allotments at two locations in Cork City.

  • At Churchfield Garden Allotments, Churchfield. There are 53 plots in this allotment.
  • At Ballincollig Regional Park. There are 84 plots at this location.

Any resident of Cork City is eligible to apply to lease a plot at for either of these allotments and plots are allocated on a first come, first served basis with a limit of one plot per person/ household.

The cost of renting a plot is €1/m2, and plot sizes vary from 50m2 to 100m2, from €50 to €100.

All available allotments are currently assigned and the current waiting time for an allotment is approximately 2-3 years.

You will be contacted when a plot becomes available.
