The wreath laying ceremony to honour Tomás Mac Curtain and Terence MacSwiney took place at the Republican Plot in St Finbarr's Cemetery on 12 June 2020.
It was attended by then Lord Mayor Cllr. John Sheehan, Lady Mayoress Aedemar Sheehan, Chief Executive of Cork City Council Ann Doherty, Fionnuala Mac Curtain, grand-daughter of Lord Mayor Tomás Mac Curtain, and Terence MacSwiney, grand-nephew of Lord Mayor Terence MacSwiney.
