We are delighted to report that just over €200,000 was raised for charity through our Cork City Marathon event in 2024 which included a Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k Race. Our races take place on Sunday of the June Bank Holiday Weekend every year.

We are already planning for 2025 and have set ambitious targets for ourselves. We hope to double the amount of money we raise for charity over the next few years.

Cork City Marathon is now once again organised by Cork City Council, and we are committed to turning this into a huge charity fundraiser and one to mark on your fundraising calendar. From our end we hope to do a big charity launch and promote fundraising from our social media accounts to really push this side of the race.

• Who do I contact if I have any questions or issues regarding fundraising?

• How do we receive the funds raised by our fundraisers?

Funds are sent to you in real time, as donors donate, to your connected stripe account.

• Do I have access to reports?

You have access to real time reporting from your benefactor dashboard on the Give2you platform under Reports - https://give2you.ie/reports/

• How can I create my fundraising page?

Option 1.

You can choose to fundraise while registering for the event. In the fundraising section when asked if you’d like to create a fundraising page you select YES and then select the charity you wish to fundraise for. Once registration is complete your fundraising page will automatically be created and emailed to you.

Option 2.

If you have completed registration and are now looking to fundraise, click HERE to create your fundraising page in seconds!

• Who do I contact if I have any questions or queries?

• How does the charity receive the funds I have raised?

Funds are sent to the charity in real time, as your donors donate, making an instance impact to the charity.

• Can I fundraise for multiple charities?

You can fundraise for a maximum of 5 charities, with funds split equally between the chosen charities.
