Paul Dunlea Quintet at the Triskel

Although at home in a variety of musical styles – trombonist/composer/arranger – Paul Dunlea concentrates primarily on Jazz and Improvisation. This has furthered his reputation as one of Ireland’s most in demand musicians. Dunlea has assembled some of the best improvising musicians from Ireland and the UK for his forthcoming release on Whirlwind Recordings and this concert presents an opportunity to hear material from that new release as well as other original compositions and contemporary takes on favourite standards.
