Cork City Pedestrian Streets
The 1.3 km pedestrianisation route of the Marina walkway from just below the entrance to Pairc Ui Chaoimh down to Church Avenue near Blackrock Village is marked in blue on the Marina Walkway map. The walkway offers people the opportunity to savour the surrounding nature and fine views overlooking the river in a safe and accessible manner, improving the experience for all users.
The permanent pedestrianisation of 17 Cork City centre street is an integral part of the long term vision Cork City Council holds for creating sustainable urban growth. The changes to the city centre are aimed at making the city a safe, inclusive and pleasant place for residents, shoppers & visitors to support local business and make Cork an attractive and desirable place to be.

- Princes Street South, 9.30 am to 4am, 7 days a week.
- Grafton Street, from 11am to 4am, 7 days a week,
- Marlboro Street South, from 11am to 4am, 7 days a week,
- Robert Street, from 11am to 4am, 7 days a week,
- Morgan Street, from 11am to 4am, 7 days a week,
- Smith Street, from 11am to 4am, 7 days a week, from its junction with Oliver Plunkett Street to its junction with Phoenix Street,
- Phoenix Street, from 9.30 am to 4am, 7 days a week, from its junction with Pembroke Street to its junction with Crane Lane,
- Beasley Street, from 9.30 am to 4am, 7 days a week,
- Tuckey Street, 11am to 4 am, 7 days a week.
